I lived the first 23 years of my life as an athiest. I am now a Christian and believe that we need God to rescue this world that mankind is destroying. If we are looking for anyone to blame for sickness, natural (manmade!) disasters, murder, rape, mutilation, trafficking, paedophilia, (I could go on!), then we need to take a close look at ourselves.
Every little thing we do wrong has a consequence in the world we live in - so have a think about: 'the things you do wrong' x 'the number of people who have lived in the world' = 'the state of the world today.'
Bible believing Christians don't walk around in the bubble that this video portrays. They get their hands dirty and actually make a practical difference in the world and at the same time they get on their knees before the one who created them and ask Him to forgive and as they accept that Jesus is Gods sacrifice to pay for those wrongs (sins) they realise that Gods promises are true, but that we need to bring heaven to earth through prayer and faith. God is not a controller, you need to invite him into your life - then you will see miracles worked out in your own life and you can live your life as God intended, while showing others that they too can have the same life-transforming love in their life. Have a read at 'A life-changing moment' to see how I started my journey with God. He has truly transformed my life.
